N.E.W. Credit Union’s Method Vizelka Memorial Scholarship was created to honor the memory and the impact Method Vizelka made in the communities we serve. Method was a life long member and served on the Board of Directors at N.E.W. Credit Union for 12 years. In addition to his community service through the credit union, Method was a dedicated volunteer and active participant in our communities. Method also was an advocate for our school systems and believed that all members of our communities should have the opportunity to gain a higher education.
Method Vizelka embodied the mission and vision of N.E.W. Credit Union. At N.E.W. Credit Union, we proudly serve our communities and work to provide all of our members with the opportunities to succeed. We hope (through this scholarship) to honor Method’s impact and highlight others who want to do the same.
N.E.W. Credit Union is offering a $500 scholarship to each of the following schools – Oconto Falls High School, Oconto High School, Lena High School, Gillett High School, Peshtigo High School, and Suring High School. Additionally, one $500 scholarship is also available for an N.E.W Credit Union member from a school not listed.
Applications are due to the credit union on or before this year’s deadline. Applications submitted after will not be accepted.
