What is Mobile Deposit?

Mobile Deposit allows you to deposit checks into your account by using the camera on your phone or tablet. Simple take a picture of the check through N.E.W. Credit Union’s mobile app, and the funds will be deposited electronically without needing to visit a branch or ATM.

Why is Mobile Deposit important?

Mobile Deposit makes banking more convenient by allowing you to deposit checks anytime and anywhere. Save time by skipping the in-person visit and manage your funds more efficiently with mobile deposit.

When will my Mobile Deposit Funds be available in my account?

Mobile Deposits are processed Monday through Friday on business days (weekends and federal holidays are not considered business days). Deposits submitted late on Friday afternoon may be processed on the next business day.

Funds are normally received within 2 business days. Longer check holds may still apply. Please keep your paper checks until the funds are post to your accounts.

Can I track my Mobile Deposits?

Yes! In the App click on “Deposit” and then click on “View mobile deposit history.” You will be able to view the last 30 days of your Mobile Deposit activity, and if your Mobile Deposit is still Pending, has been Accepted, or has Failed. If the Mobile Deposit is Pending, it has been submitted for us to review. If the Mobile Deposit has been Accepted, we have approved the deposit, and it will be post to your account within 2 business days. If the Mobile Deposit has Failed, it was rejected. Please try again or give us a call at 1-800-924-1250 to find out why we could not accept your Mobile Deposit.
