Falls Paper Employees Credit Union was formed in July of 1962 by a group of
employees of the paper mill, sharing a common bond, who were seeking a better
means of savings and loans for themselves.
At that time, the credit union was only made up of employees of the paper mill
and their families.
Over the years, other companies and individuals expressed interest in the credit
union resulting in an expansion of the field of membership. Today, all persons
living or working in Brown, Marinette, Oconto and Shawano Counties and their
families are eligible to join.
These changes also resulted in a name change over the years to N.E.W. Credit
Union.

N.E.W. Credit Union is a not for profit, member - owned financial cooperative. Our goal is to provide the best possible financial services to our members at competitive rates and to maintain the credit union's financial stability.
